Why Choose Us?

Store Your Entire Home's Contents
Household goods storage covers everything in your home: furniture, boxes, appliances, electronics, clothing, kitchenware, personal items, and everything in between. Residents in Waltham, Watertown, and the Wellesley area rely on our secure Greater Boston area storage solutions. Unlike self-storage where you rent a unit and move items yourself, our service includes professional pickup, transport to our facility, secure storage, and delivery to your new address when you're ready.
Your belongings are stored together in a dedicated space, inventoried at intake, and maintained in a climate-monitored environment that protects against temperature extremes, humidity, and pests. This full-service approach means you never need to visit a storage facility, rent a truck, or handle any heavy lifting.
We handle household goods storage for full homes of all sizes: studios and one-bedrooms through large 4-5 bedroom houses with garages and basements. The storage space is scaled to fit your inventory.

When Full Household Storage Is Needed
Selling your home before buying. The most common scenario. Clients in Weston and Westwood choose our Greater Boston community storage for its security and convenience. Your house sells and closes before you've found or closed on the new one. We move everything into storage and deliver it once the new home is ready.
Relocating to Boston. Your job starts in two weeks but your apartment lease doesn't begin for six weeks. We pick up your shipment at arrival and store it until the apartment is ready.
Extended renovation. A full home renovation can take months. Storage protects your belongings from construction dust, paint, moisture, and contractor foot traffic.
Separation or divorce. One household becomes two. Storage provides time and space to sort through shared belongings without pressure.
Estate settlement. After a family member passes, the estate may need to be emptied before the property can be sold or transferred. Storage holds everything while the estate is settled.

Household Storage Rates
Household goods storage is priced based on the total volume stored. Moving services (initial pickup and final delivery) are billed at $149 per hour for two movers and a truck, with larger homes requiring additional crew members.
We provide a comprehensive estimate covering: the initial move to storage, monthly storage fees based on volume, and the delivery move to your new address. Storage duration is flexible — no long-term contracts, and you can adjust your timeline as plans change.
For a full household, expect storage costs to reflect the square footage equivalent of your home's contents. We'll give you exact numbers after assessing your inventory.

How Full Household Storage Works
Step 1: Estimate. We assess your home's contents (in person or via detailed phone/video walkthrough) and provide a combined moving + storage quote.
Step 2: Pickup. Our crew arrives on move day, packs anything that needs packing (if you've added packing services), wraps and protects all furniture, and loads everything onto our truck for transport to our facility.
Step 3: Storage. Your belongings are inventoried, placed in your dedicated storage space, and maintained in climate-monitored conditions. You receive an inventory list for your records.
Step 4: Delivery. When you're ready, schedule a delivery date. Our crew loads your belongings from storage, transports them to your new home, places furniture, reassembles beds and desks, and distributes boxes to the correct rooms.

Preparing for Household Goods Storage
Declutter before storing. Storage costs are based on volume. Every item you eliminate reduces your monthly bill. Don't pay to store things you'll discard later.
Separate items you'll need during storage. Seasonal clothes, important documents, medications, and daily-use items should stay with you, not go into storage.
Note high-value items. Artwork, antiques, jewelry, and electronics should be identified during the estimate so we can ensure appropriate handling and discuss insurance coverage.
Clean appliances. Refrigerators should be defrosted and dried. Washers should be drained. Ovens should be cleaned. Moisture and food residue cause mold and odors in storage.

Packing Tips
How to Choose the Right Moving Box Sizes
Selecting the proper box size is essential for safe transport and efficient loading. Using incorrect box sizes can lead to structural failure, overloading, or inefficient stacking inside the truck.
Small Boxes (1.5 cu. ft.) – Heavy Items
Small cartons are ideal for dense items such as books, documents, canned goods, and small tools. Limiting weight per carton improves safety during lifting and prevents box collapse.
Medium Boxes (3.0 cu. ft.) – General Household Items
Medium cartons are commonly used for kitchenware, décor, small appliances, and miscellaneous household goods. They provide balanced capacity without becoming too heavy.
Large Boxes (5–6 cu. ft.) – Lightweight Bulk Items
Large cartons are best suited for bedding, pillows, clothing, and other lightweight but bulky belongings. These cartons should not be overloaded with dense items.
